The Influence of Mongolian Nomadic Cattle Breeding on Language Use

Abstract The Mongolian nomads’ way of life and perception the outside world is directly reflected in their thinking use language. In following article, I apply an ethnolinguistic approach to study find theoretical basis ethnography communication (Dell Hymes 1962), which allows for behaviour nomads be revealed. given examples idioms, phrases, sayings, proverbs relate cattle breeding, essence nomadic life, reveal linguistic means metaphorical expression. article builds on my previous research colloquial language based material collected during long-term field research, was subsequently consulted detail with native speakers.
